HOW WE ARE ABLE TO DO IT

The Construction Association of South Florida (CASF) hosts an Annual Charity Golf Classic to benefit two local children's charities.  Children's Aid Club has worked closely with CASF since 2006 and has been the recipient of their generosity.  CAC club members organize raffle, silent auction, and live auction items for the golf tournament and provide volunteers for the day of the event.

of this coming year's CASF Golf Classic,  which has more than DOUBLED the reach in the community, thanks to their support.

We look forward to the upcoming event on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 when we will help support this year's CASF Golf Classic.

100% of the proceeds goes directly to helping children and their families.

Our major fundraiser is our Valentine's Taste 'n' Tell Lunch, held annually. This is a unique event featuring a menu selected by a committee of members . Our guests are given a small recipe booklet that "tells" them how to prepare the items.  Taste ‘n’ Tell also features a bake sale, a silent auction, a  live auction, and raffle baskets of goods and services donated by generous people and companies in the community. 100% of the profits from  Taste ‘n’ Tell are put back into the heart of the community.

Like many other nonprofit organizations, the Children's Aid Club had to think outside the box to keep our mission going during these unprecedented times. We made many adjustments, especially in our fundraising efforts. We had two ZOOM Virtual Events. They were Fun-raising successful experiences. More about that is listed in our Hearts in Action section tab above!!

Our 2024 Taste  ‘n’ Tell Luncheon was another huge success thanks to all of our generous and loyal CAC family and firends! The Children's Aid Club would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all who attended!

 We are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity of loyal  SPONSORS!   It was an incredible day and our hearts were full seeing so much love and joy in the room! Your kindness and support allows us to enrich that lives of thousands of children thoughout South Florida all year long!

During 2023-2024 CAC was able to provide "immediate response" to   50 individual families, which included   138 children. CAC paid rent to avoid eviction, utilities to avoid cut off, car insurance, car repair or gas cards for work

transportation; provided clothing, coats, uniforms, shoes for children in need at various times in the year and

gave food gift certificates to help relieve finances and be sure to have food on the table. 

2023 EASTER BASKETS

Our Easter Basket team works diligently and safely as we continue to prepare Easter Family care packages.

 This past Easter, we prepared baskets for 96  families reaching 249 children.

This past Christmas we fortunately 

 were able to make families in crisis have a little brighter season. This happened through partnerships with other nonprofit organizations we partner with and our generous donors through our Holiday Appeal Drive. We reached  a total of 281 families, which included 860 children through our Holiday Basket program.
